Privacy
Your photos, used for one estimate.
This page explains the practical data handling for Is It Worth Selling?
Photos you upload
When you upload a photo, it is sent to our server to identify the item and create an estimate. The server passes the image to our AI provider for processing. The app does not save uploaded photos in its own database, and the photo is not included in a shared result link.
Results and shared links
Valuation details can be encoded into a share link when you choose to share a result. Anyone with that link may be able to read the valuation details. Do not include private or sensitive information in a photo or listing.
Email results and marketing choices
If you ask us to email a result, we send the summary and email address to Postmark to deliver it. This transactional email is separate from marketing. Marketing is optional, unchecked by default, and sent only when you give express consent. We record the market, consent choice and time with the delivery record. Every marketing email will include a clear unsubscribe option; you can also withdraw consent by replying to any WorthSelling email.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand general site and feature usage. We do not send uploaded photos, item titles, model numbers, search queries or full valuation results to Google Analytics. After a completed scan, we may record only broad fixed categories (for example, gaming or furniture), plus price and sellability ranges, to understand aggregate demand.
Third-party services
Depending on configuration, the service may use OpenAI for identification and research, Postmark for requested email delivery, and eBay for current listing comparables. Those providers process requests under their own terms and privacy policies.
